Edit~ sorry I have looked into these, the difference is very location dependent, quantity at a location and its a prize draw, and over time your chance of winning gets smaller.
I do agree it feels like it's getting shilled a lot and the entire concept was a way for the people on top to manufacture and ship out $500 routers. But hotspots near me can pay themselves off in 1-2 months so it might be easy to get my ROI back asap and then take the ride for a few months and see where it goes.

I have a hard time seeing companies actually use/subscribe to the network.

Is there actually a correlation between being a liberal/progressive and being against crypto? Or is this a fantasy that you've created in your own head?

I think the Mt. Gox settlement is on 11/20 which is what all the Hedge funds have shorted for.

Which Hedge Funds are shorting? Bonds are cucked, they're buying Bitcoin.

Mara is selling 650 mill of convertible bonds to buy Bitcoin.

This.

Without looking into it, they larp onto the fact that crypto is a scam primarily utilised for money laundering and the main cause of climate change.

Also they love screeching the 'right click save image' NFT hype that is going on.

Now i'm not saying all of them are like that, or people who are more conservative aren't also opposed to it. But from my experience online and people i know irl, it's a big correlation.

Fair enough. I understand it from a climate angle, but haven't really noticed much of a relationship myself. I seea lotof progressives on crypto Twitter. Then again, that's probably cause it's Twitter.

Wait until 4 zeros and a 3, or even a 2 to buy in, most analysts seem to recommend this at this time with regards to shib, don’t spend more than 2% of your portfolio on it…

Inb4 shib does a 3x in the next 7 hours.

if it's a guaranteed return where you are, I don't see a problem trying it out as long as it's not a tax headache.

I can only speak for myself but I didn't look into it enough initially because I was distracted by other, crappier projects and just thought "great CDC is a solid exchange but what's the point of the CRO? It's just an exchange like CB. What utility would a coin have?" Then I looked into it more, saw the staking value, the cards,, learned more about CDC, and then wised up.

If anyone was uncertain before, those concerns should be reduced now
