There seems to be actual chance that Biden will put Lael Brainard to replace Jerome Powell as fed chair.

Not sure how market would react to that.

Word is that decision will be made this weekend.

Jerome term ends January.

Lael is apparently even bigger dove than Jerome and she doesn't believe in raising interest rates. (thats what CNBC analyst are saying that know Lael)

I don't have an explanation forwhyUPST is dropping so significantly following solid earnings, but I am betting it is just re-entering the rising channel it was in from March through August. If correct, then we will likely see it continue to drop over the next week or so all the way to ~165-170.

I picked up atinyposition just below the channel's support (~239 for me), hoping it would test and bounce back up. If it drops below 175 I'll be ready to load up.

And BROS forever. Don't get nervous now, just keep slowly adding over time - hold for 5-10 years on this one. It may not be NVDA levels of returns, but in terms of semi-recent IPOs it is my favorite as asafemarket beater.

I don't disagree regarding the ridiculousness, but the market is stupid and getting more stupid as more people are 'playing' in it. A lot of momentum can build off of nothing. The momentum can end anytime though, so who knows it may drop 80% lol.
