A woman, or even a group of women, on her own is useless. In the state of nature she can't feed herself, she can't build shelter or keep warm, she can't defend herself. She's completely helpless and will soon die without men to do all those things. The only way she gets anything is by manipulating men, either by making big eyes, squeezing her teds together and pouting or by nagging depending on the man. Conversely men can do all manner of things, they can hunt, they can build and create. They can conquer and take what they want for themselves, or make others do things for them directly by force. The only thing men can't do is grow, birth and raise a child.
