If wolves were to ambush at the same time. It’s over. But that’s not how they attack

I’m pretty sure I could. I am very good with a Katana.
Yeah yeah I used to be fat. I cringe at how I looked. But my skills were totally on point. I practiced for thousands of hours.
Not only Katanas, but historical European weapons as well, such as Longswords.
I also took part in cutting competitions and only lost to someone fatter than I was. I was VERY good.

I got some new Katanas recently of different steels. 1060, 1095, 9260, and T10. I always liked how they handle when you use them.
They’re basically a saber-length blade with a two-handed grip. And with modern monosteel, they’re as good as anything. Historically speaking, The blade would be around 25-28”.
I suppose reach wouldn’t be the same, which is why I got the Cheness Okatana which is a 33” long Katana blade. 9260 Spring Steel

Germanic is a kings swordsman. A fighting machine with Pa blood coursing thru his veins. Undefeated in the streets.

They actually are sharp and well made. They have forged in China where they generate reproductions. Just have to find a good seller. They can do light cutting.
One thing people don’t get about Katanas and laminated or differentially-treated or “Damascus” swords is that these methods were utilized largely due to steel smelting techniques, or from iron sands that contained impurities.
Modern “monosteel” blades are, in most cases, superior to what would have been provided by the majority of blacksmiths back then. Having a steel billet of unimpeachable origin, and hammering it by hydraulic press, is far more preferable to hammering an unknown type of iron ore into a billet and attempting to do the same.
For a REALLY good sword, look at Albion Swords. They are sourced from historical examples.
