BF5 still get full servers (I am on Playstation). You should try it. Fun, smooth gameplay, great weapon mechanics, amazing graphics, sniping is great, gunplay where you actually hit the target you aim on, incredible maps. Seriously, the maps on BF5 are really good. Some give you those CS vibes as well, the close quarter maps at least

Eh, after Halo got delayed, it kind of set a new bar for me. Halo released when it was ready, and not when the developer and studio wanted it to. I would rather have a game be delayed and be flawless at launch, rather than it launching with a chit ton of bugs and glitches.

DICE's Head of Design Is Leaving Following Release Of Battlefield 2042

Battlefield 2042 launched earlier this month and now developer DICE's head of design is leaving the company. As reported by VGC, Fawzi Mesmar is leaving the studio, as he had plans to do so after its latest title had shipped. He joined DICE in 2019, and he worked on both the Battlefield and Star Wars: Battlefront franchises.

"It was an absolute pleasure to serve on the best design teams in the galaxy," wrote Mesmar in an email to staff. "The incredible design work that you do continues to inspire me every day. Thank you for putting some faith in me, I hope I didn’t disappoint."

Mesmar said that he was given an opportunity to work at another company that he could not turn down and that his new employer has been kind enough to wait so he could ship Battlefield 2042. "It was super important to me to be here with the team as we achieve this historical milestone," he explained.

One of my biggest issues with this game is just how bland everything looks.

Look at this screenshot of being up on a roof top, there's absolutely no life, no personality, no charm, no identity to this game, it's just the most boring and drab **** ever.



and then compare that to a basic landscape from BF:V

I hate this game with a passion even the team dm maps are too big and snipers all over and its bland and it sucks looks like **** and sounds like **** too

Didn't get a vehicle at the start of the match? Tough **** bud, guess you're walking to the closest objective, now get out of the VTOL.

Trying to spawn on an objective that's being contested? We should probably spawn you somewhere close by and with some reasonable cover so you can regroup and strategize your next attack... Nah we're gonna spawn you a mile away and out in the open where all the helis and hovercrafts are. These guys are trying to level up their vehicles and need some cannon fodder. Cheers!

Want to call in a vehicle because you're sick of walking? Sorry bud, vehicle slots are full. Try again later.

Managed to get a vehicle but you died and now it's just sitting out there in the middle of the map? Just call in a new one right? Nope. You need to wait for that vehicle to be destroyed before you can call in/spawn in a new one.

Someone else is driving in a vehicle with some open seats? No shot bucko, you're not in his squad so you can go ahead and get ****ed. (The only vehicle you can spawn in, squad or not, is the Condor/Hino or the big amphibious tank thing and 9/10 times those things are already full)

Spawned on an objective that has the one pick-up truck or Polaris? Ooooooh darn, you just missed it. Some other guy took it and he's already long gone. If you start walking now you just might catch up to him.

We made our maps soooooo much bigger to accommodate 128 players! Unfortunately we didn't provide an adequate amount of spare transport vehicles to make up for those numbers.

If you haven't guessed yet, I'm absolutely livid about how soul-crushingly unfair it feels to play infantry in this game. If you're not playing hiking simulator, then you're busy lying on your ass because you got caught out in the open once again by a helo or ground vehicle and immediately got vaporized. This **** is frustrating and genuinely makes me want to uninstall.

Give us some damn dirtbikes and additional ATVs or something. I shouldn't have to resort to playing as Rocky the Flying Squirrel to circumvent the ludicrous amounts of walking in this game because there's barely any vehicles to drive.

Miss the good old days of bf3. Wish they’d get it together. Sticking with bf5 even though it’s also not that great. Siege got too many “pros” and became unplayable to a casual player, bf5 is the closest thing I can find to a casual fps

BF5 is a very decent game (now) and is even better if you have friends/a squad to play with. You feel like it's a complete game, at least.

IDK brahs im having fun and I loved and have thousands of hours in bf2, bf3, bf4 bfv and bfbc2
