Crypto crew - want to buy my first ever crypto. Have $850…
I know it’s not a lot but that’s what I have. Want to spend/invest it all on crypto.
What app or service should I use? Money is in my bank and I don’t know the next steps.
Best strategy? I will put in $500 a month into it I’m thinking…what’s a good game plan?
Need to be able to pull and use the crypto quickly if I need the money in the future.
Reps till out

Do some research across the interweb and pick 10 low cap altcoins, spread the money across them, and hope just one goes 5-10x and count on losing the rest
Rinse and repeat until lambo
Best to get in before they hit the exchanges because that usually signals top is near

What about VOO?
I shouldn’t have sold and sat on cash (to hedge against another move I made) back in august 2020. Heart sinks everytime I see the prices now. Fuk!
I liquidated all my stocks and ETFs back then and still sitting on cash trying to time the market. Selling was ok since it was a financial decision I made but not getting back is has been even worst.
Doing it today though. Gonna go ahead and put 50% it back today (Ofcourse executes in the morning)

850 is not enough to move the needle unless you get lucky with one or the smaller coins. Try to get 10k loan at a low interest rate and put everything into bitcoin. It will be 100k by next year srs

Also, there is a high probability of a bear market for a bitcoin, nothing goes up forever.

To buy crypto it’s better you set up robinhood or better webull (more choices than robinhood) because it’s commission-free. If you use coinbase, get coinbase-pro as well, because fees to buy and sell are much much lower.
How you would want to do this as far as investing in crypto is like this: watch invest answers on youtube for conservative advice, and something like crypto banter for more risky advice, buy ONLY and ONLY on dips, when price is REALLY REALLY low, and buy only good stuff, this way if price goes down it doesn’t matter, it will rebound, but low quality coins may go to zero. Good stocks and coins are like a bouncing ball, they always come back. Just have patience and never sell until you are ready to buy that Ferrari

Classic advice on how your portfolio should look like is 50% bitcoin, 25% Eth, 24% smaller coins, and 1 maximum 2% of really risky stuff that can 100x or go to zero.
For examples of what a dip is, SOL you should buy at $191, Fantom at $1.90 etc. Use BOLL indicator on webull and buy ONLY when stock or crypto is under or on the bottom line, or sitting on some EMA. NEVER buy anything that went up 10% that day or past week. We don’t buy green, you buy when there is blood in the streets.

SNFT erc20, easily a 5-10x in the next month. They're working with bitboy, just released their product. NO ONE knows about it. Easiest short-term non-****coin flip

I can only see borrowing after some spectacular crash, like at least a 40-50% crash, and if it seems like there is confirmation of a rebound then yes, I’m taking out 6 figures to put on bitcoin and smaller faster alts. But still it would be 6 figures that I actually can easily pay back if bitcoin goes down again.

My safe pick is always ethereum, but if wanted something a little more risky I'd pick Polygon (Matic) perhaps - second layer solution to eth and its' currently high gas fees. Currently ranked 17. The NFT area especially needs these lower fees. There's other ones even smaller for this like IMX as well. Lower ranked and small caps is more of a gamble and you need to do your own research or have insider info for it to work out on such a small amount. Then try put any decent gains you get in to well researched smaller caps to x up your eth/btc stash.
Regarding taking loans to get started, I think it can be good in some cases...that's how I started over 4 years ago...and increased it when btc dropped to 3.2k or something like that and it's just a tool that can work out well. Never would use high leverage on exchanges though.

If you're only investing that much you have to play chitcoin casino to make any substantial gains.

Make a kucoin and put it all in sylo for a 50-100x
Mcap for sylo is 13mill
At just 3b mcap that would make your 800$ into 200k
Or put it all into grt and maybe get 40k since we’re about to blast off. Grt is a top 10 coin

FCUK Coinbase. They have screwed many people, including myself and have basically ZERO customer service.
Use crypto.com app. They actually have excellent customer service and the app is easy to use, and you can stake your coins if you want to earn interest on them later on.
How risky do you want to be with your 850$? More risk/potentially more reward would be the “buy 10 alt coins and hope one skyrockets” route that another bruh posted.
Or you could do the smart longer term/ lower risk route and set up a recurring investment of 50$etherium/$50 Bitcoin weekly for the foreseeable future. This is “dollar cost averaging”, a smart approach if you don’t want to pay too much attention to your portfolio and just let it grow over time.
