No. Depends. I've had a few where we were in sync 100% immediately and having a great time, all over each other, sexual tension was off the charts so not smashing would have made no damn sense. If I'm looking for a serious relationship with her, I prefer to not smash on the first date. I think sex on the third date would be ideal.

But if I don't smash by the third date or fourth at the latest and I keep getting my advances rejected then I start losing interest and not wasting my time with her anymore
