Bought my first gun today

FNX 45 Tactical. Absolutely love it Misc. 15+1 rounds of wrong house/wrong truck/this is my purse I don't know you. Since it's the LARPing edition, it has a threaded barrel for a suppressor, provisions for a light, lazer and optics. Obviously it's not a EDC for light clothes in the summer, but perfect for carrying mostly year round in Wyoming. Plus a great backup gun for hunting and home defense. Eventually I'll get an FN 509 or a S&W Shield to CC for the warmer days.

time to get glock 43X for a CCW, with a good AIWB holster. dont cheap out.

Nice pick up. I want a FNX 45.

Go ahead and pair it with an AR since you've already got your feet wet. Let's quit pussy footing around here.

Thanks brothers. Hopefully this will be a good gateway drug to more handguns, rifles and maybe a shotgun.

That's kind of a cool gun for a first time buyer or someone who doesn't know anything about guns. How'd you decide on that, watching alot of Colion Noir videos on youtube

Honing in on a DE 50AE. Do I need it? No. Will I be deaf if I ever shoot it in a home invasion? Yes. Could I blast through multiple walls/doors if necessary? Absolutely. Will wear this whole get up if chit ever hits the fan with society.

lmfao, my thought's if I had the choice. Cuckadian so I don't even know what I can have. Even airsoft is banned here. Only hope for home defense is if I'm aloud to have it for hunting.

Lmao the misc is just cheeky kunts, I swear.

I ended up going with this after shooting about 6-7 handguns at a local range. I wanted a smaller gun in the $500-800 range to EDC and get familiar with. Going off memory, I shot a S&W Shield, M&P 2.0, Kimber 1911, Glock 17?19? I forget, a rock island handgun, and some other small 9mm, and this one. The others I "liked", but didn't get hard for. Once I fired this gun, I knew right away I wanted it. My groupings were tight, 8 rounds were clustered the size of a half dollar at 10 yards lmao. It felt great in my hands, and had very little kick for a 45. I'm relatively big, so it ended up working great for my hands. I was going to get the regular FNX, but down the road I'd probably want to play around with mods, so I ended up getting the Tactical.

I had every intention of getting a more reasonably priced and smaller gun, but this gun made a great impression on me. Buy what you'll be happy with I guess. My next gun will be smaller to CC, and I also want to get a Springfield Armory Ronin, because 1911. So I might just stick to .45, or just get a 9mm gun just for CC. I have time to look more into it.

Great first gun. Hope you’ve shot a firearm before, before you start concealing a .45. (Ded fkn Srs)

Don’t sleep on Rock Island. I bought their 1911 and it is a great gun for $400. It’s an exact copy of Colt, as they got the rights to their blueprint.

You people are insufferable. LOL I respect Glocks, they're a relatively inexpensive, good performing and reliable brand of firearms. They're just uggo and the slide and trigger didn't feel as good as the FNX to me. Maybe the rental needed to be cleaned or oiled? I dunno, but being new and having no bias, the FNX checked almost all of my boxes.

Gmen I appreciate the feedback. I was very skeptical of RI, but for the money it performed very well. I'll keep it in mind when I decide to get a 1911.

FNX45?? Isn't that a 45? Go Big or Go Home lol. I think that's the highest capacity 45 on the market.

My 1st and current gun is a CZ97b. 10+1 capacity. I want an AK47 next.

How are you liking the CZ97b, and did you get the decocker model or no (and what's the merit of having that, or not?)

I've purchased and paid for a suppressor that will show up in 9-12 months once the feds get done reading my misc posts. The FNX 45 Tactical is on my short list I'm considering for 45 ACP hosts. Good pickup OP. Repped.

I picked up this 9mm on BF. It's basically a Glock 19 on OJ. Looks like it's still on sale.
