Friend who works in ER says only patients dying of Covid are unvaxxed

Edit: This friend is someone I've known since grade school...They never struck me as particularly political, but admittedly they do lean slightly left on social issues despite being married to a very conservative person.

Not trying to play devil's advocate here but would like to get some thoughts on this from misc.

My buddy who is an ER nurse said he hasn't seen a single death as a result of Covid-19 for those who were vaccinated in the last 4 months.

He had a 57 year old female patient who he claims had no other co-morbidities who died a gruesome death on the ICU bed due to covid. This particular patient was not only unvaccinated, but railed against vaccine "propaganda" on her social media.

Side note: Do healthcare workers typically snoop on your social media? (I don't have any outside misc myself but asking out of curiosity)

I wasn't sure how to respond quite honestly.

hes frauding hard.

they test every single person who is admitted for covid. anyone who dies counts as a covid death. there are 80-90 year olds dying of covid left and right and they are all vaccinated. your friend is full of chit saying he knows this patients social media and thats the only one that died.

not sure why anyone would be anti-covid vaxx at this point

As someone under 30 who doesn’t drink or smoke, exercises 5+ times a week, watches their diet, doesn’t have any heart conditions. I have a 99.9999% chance of beating Covid

So far I know more people that have died from the jab (3), then from Covid (1)
