People who trust food delivery services are retarded

Im talking about grubhub, uber eats, postmates, etc etc. If you trust any of these apps your a fool. Imagine being that naïve to think some self employed kunt making $12 an hour ISNT gonna fuk with your food.
Also how fukin lazy do u have to be to not just drive and pick the food up yourself? holy fuk at laziness of ppl. Pizza delivery is different since those guys are at least full time employees. not saying i fully trust them either.

My car was in the shop two weeks ago so against my better judgment i used one of those ghey apps to order chick filet. my food showed up nearly 1.5 hours later, order was wrong food was cold and stale and the delivery driver only spoke Spanish.

Newsflash: if you are worried about the driver jizzing in your food, the cook most likely already did that.

With this logic the cook spit, came and blew a snot rocket onto your food before it even got bagged up.

But the trick with these services is to only order from reputable restaurants in decent areas and, unfortunately, always tip. The drivers are able to see how much you tip before picking up the food srs.

The funniest are the people who use food delivery services becase they are afraid of COVID. Don't they realize the driver isn't going to wear a mask inside his car, is going to sneeze all over their food, stick his grubby hands in your bag and eat half of your fries, and is probably only working as a delivery driver because he lost his last job to COVID mandates

Most, not all, of the bags are sealed so you can tell if they've been tampered with

Also, it'd be pretty easy to charge them, fire them or charge them with a crime. Since you have to give all your info to those places to deliver

I'm not sure if all the apps let you see the tip but you're literally paying a 3rd party service for the driver so if you're giving 0 tip you're pretty much not paying for it. Its not like the restaurant has a delivery service

Jakes on you OP, I never tip.

I use DoorDash at least twice a week, never tip and never give any fuks. You realize you can neg the driver into oblivion right?

Also lolz @ thinking the chef hasn't already rubbed his hairy bawls through your food. Wincel usually has to pay extra to for that.

Yep. Im not paying no fukin middle man to hire another middle man to bring me cold food for double the cost.

Ill either go myself or use a delivery driver if they are employed by the restaurant like a pizza place

Supporting those chit hole apps is about as beta/lazy as you can get.

I don’t even eat out or pick up any food any more. Nobody cares about quality these days.

And it still boggles my mind why people would order through DoorDash and other delivery apps. It comes down to laziness.

Agreed. Never will I forgot when I was grabbing Noodles & Co and there was a grub hub dude...300+lbs sweating, wearing his grub hub shirt which was dirty, Nasty ass basketball shorts all stained up and hanging down so you could see the upper part of his ass crack, and dirty gray fraying socks. I was disgusted and felt sympathy for whoever had their food handled by him.

lol I say it every time a grubhub/doordash/post mates thread appears. I see delivery drivers in my area often and I can see from the sidewalk the amount of garbage and **** inside their cars. Old McDonald's wrappers, a dozen big gulp cups, empty water bottles, random garbage, etc. Let's wait for the day someone posts their food from grubhub had maggots

Never used one of these services. Call me cheap but I’m not paying 3x the price for some person to bring cold food that takes 3x as long.

Most nights I cook dinner anyway but when I eat take out I go get it right down the street.

I do not care.

I feel embarrassed and weak paying for delivery, so I pick it up myself unless a serious storm or something stops me.

I trust the services, most people who are actually working for a living right now aren't going to mess with other people's food.

I just have no interest in paying $35 to eat cold crappy fast food. I don't smoke weed anymore(which probably plays a big role in this), but there hasn't been a single time in the last 3-4 years where I needed food that couldn't typically be delivered so badly that I couldn't go get it.

Doordash and postmates frequently have promos where you end up paying less than or equal to what you would pay picking it up.

Its not even the fukking with the food thats the bad part, its the fact restaurant workers absolutely hate grub hub orders with a passion as well as host/servers who have to take the order. So its going to be wrong, made with hate, and will probably set there for over an hour before someone picks it up to deliver.

Yeah the bag is a fortress with the staples
Not like anyone would own a stapler or have the ability to peel back a sticker

BUT for op when I was working long days I would order through those services
Never had any issue BUT the cost was like double
They jack up the prices of the items from the real menu plus all the fees/tip
