The reasons that leftists give for hating the West, etc. clearly do not correspond with their real motives. They SAY they hate the West because it is warlike, imperialistic, sexist, ethnocentric and so forth, but where these same faults appear in socialist countries or in primitive cultures, the leftist finds excuses for them, or at best he GRUDGINGLY admits that they exist; whereas he ENTHUSIASTICALLY points out (and often greatly exaggerates) these faults where they appear in Western civilization. Thus it is clear that these faults are not the leftist’s real motive for hating America and the West. He hates America and the West because they are strong and successful.

The whole thing is corrupt. Our government is too big, with far too many appendages - and we're pushing towards a global order to only make it larger. Governments should be SMALL, at most the size of a small town. Anything larger than that becomes too easy to hide power/corruption/revenue.

Not sure it has to be *that* small or that such a small scale would be practical given current population.

I think that a republic of smaller government bodies was the idea behind how the US was organized, but over time corruption and federal usurpation of states' rights wrecked it.

I would much rather see the establishment of sound money, end of usury, and a reorganization of the United States as a reinvigorated republic than a move toward a single global government.

Yes, but the size of our government and the constant additions of federal agencies, departments, etc is what has made our collapse so easy to hide. There isn't just one string of corruption o follow, there's several dozen strings to follow, and each of them are valid.

"A reorganization of the United States as a reinvigorated republic..." - What I'm saying is what you're hoping for is impossible, and we're actively moving in the opposite direction.

Anyway. For now my advice both to myself and anyone else, that I'll probably repeat on this forum over time, is to focus on your own home, family, and neighborhood. Get to know and familiarize your own surroundings, and bolster your home and personal relationships. This is all we have direct control over, and is where our power ultimately lies.
