I used to think it was crazy that WW2 could happen in the "modern world" when they had radio, newsprint, instant communication all over the world with the undersea cables.


Now look in 2021. You got widespread totalitarianism, australia being one of the worst, concentration camps are back and look at China's rhetoric on Taiwan, they sound like pre WW2 germany talking about their manifest destiny to bring back Taiwan under their rule and all this chit.

The media and progressives were supporting Hitler in the 1930s up until the war. Nobel prizes were given for articles published on the subject too. Few people were able to publish writings, so only a handful of writers were writing on libertarianism. Today, social media is being controlled and censored to make it look like the majority supports totalitarianism. It's creating a similar affect.
