Prediction:

Early in the game Gerald gets killed off by some random mook, and you play the game as Ciri, it is retconned in that Ciri is in fact, a transexual and she has an LGBT relationship with a genderqueer person of colour.

The game is also an unplayable mess.

Can't wait.

you didn't read the books because she is in fact gay in them and a main character.

Your plot would make complete sense as a continuation according to the source material and the way tw3 ended.

Haven't played Cyberpunk and avoided it due to the terrible reviews during release.

Hope they learned their lesson because TW3 is in my top 3.

Companies or franchises can bounce back. Look at Modern Warfare 2019 + Warzone. Vanguard is trash but 2019 put COD back on the map big time after years of stale garbage.

CDPR knows the entire gaming community hates them right now. The Witcher 4 it's do or die for them. Hope they get it right.

TW3 is definitely in my top 3 of all time, but this doesn't interest me at all. It was perfect with the two DLCs, story and characters got a very satisfying closure, it really does not need another take. This just smells like a hopeless cash grab after the CP dumpster fire where they try to milk their one and only successful IP.

The problem with CDPR’s game development philosophy, as I see it, is that it’s almost like they’ve forgotten that they’re making a GAME. It’s like these dudes cooked up loads of other stuff and then suddenly thought “oh chit, we’ve gotta make a game out of this!”, and then it gets tacked on at the end as a last minute effort.

I loved Witcher 3, but after seeing what a dumpster fire CP2077 was, I can't say I'm hyped for this at all. Based on the developers history it probably isn't wise to buy the game as soon as it comes out, lol. I feel like I'd almost rather them not make a Witcher 4 and risk butchering it. Hope I'm proven wrong though.

When asked what the next step for Cyberpunk and the Witcher are, he mentioned that both franchises will embark on their next steps in 2022
yea, cyberpunk 2077 "embarking on its next step" when they haven't even completed the original game with their promises..

this company is trying to please its investors, and are in panic mode to release something and its all going to be a dumpster fire. expect the game sooner, rushed and dogchit

Witcher won't be the same without being a man's man like Geralt. I can't see the series being any good with a lead like Ciri or without content that probably won't be in the game anymore.

Don't think there's a master list or any particular company that took most of the turnover... they trickled away over time. Some notable ones - TW3 Director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz is now a rector at a Polish media school. Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, lead quest designer, works with a table top game company. Maciej Szcześnik was TW3's lead gameplay designer and is now a freelancer. Etc.

The executives remained largely the same, though.
