Whenever I tell people about my upbringing they are shocked that I'm not an axe murderer. I take the statement above very seriously with my two girls and make sure they have a great male role model example to look at. It's a massive responsibility and so many people just have kids without considering all the factors beforehand.

And the fact the kid was bragging on social media about having a gun (which he called HIS gun) just tells you everything you need to know. Massive red flag that obviously the father ignored like a total idiot. Or, their family has a culture with guns that is already unsafe and the kid was doomed if he got his hands on one.

it all starts at home. parents should be doing everything in their power to maxx their kid out. they only have a few years in HS, but those few years will give them a head start and mold who they will be in the future. giving the kid a weight set, putting them into sports, and not letting them dress up like a dork goes a long way

I see there are threats of more school shootings in Michigan so multiple districts have canceled classes. It’s getting to the point where metal detectors and security guards are going to be needed for schools as they are in courthouses. Sad! No one wants to pay for all of that either.

Bullying has been going on forever but it’s worse now with social media. In all of these cases there were warning signs but it’s not like you can arrest and hold every kid who posts guns on social media.

What a world we live in now.

Man it's a tough age when you don't have chit going on, plebs for parents, and feel like no one gives two chits about you. Back in the day we would just get into fights at school tho. This new generation is a different level of completely fuk'd up. It's all about parenting. I will never let my kids grow up like i did. I had ZERO self awareness of what it took to be in the "in crowd". in highschool, social status is everything. If you don't have it, you are going to sit at one of the weird kid tables and be an outcast. If you aren't pushing your kids into competitve sports, you are failing as a parent. MAKE YOUR KID DO THINGS THEY DONT WANT TO DO or else they turn out like this little freak.

It sucks to sit at one of those outcast tables. Even though I was in a competitive sport I was extremely shy.

Thankfully I reproduced with a Chad and she was shy like me in preschool, but we made sure she’d go to a school with a smaller class size and give them public speaking opportunities to develop confidence.

Now she’s part of the popular crowd and a Stacy. Everywhere she goes guys give her their Snapchat, which is mixed because I don’t want a boy touching her.
