no idea what it's like now, but i went there in 2019 and it was by far, the best of the major cities i've visited in the past few years that are known for representing democrat policies (SF, LA, Atlanta, Baltimore, Portland)
would go back there any time

I was in Memphis a few weeks back where they had 5 murders in 11 hours. There were hired security guards at every corner. I did a lot of walking around and there were places that I didn't feel safe in broad daylight. Public places.
