imo neither side will do jackshiet. such is tension between 2 nuclear powers.

at most it will devolve into a cold war, which the west will win again. russia and china know this, thats why their approach for facing the US is so long range... they want to create a victory 50 years down the road by slowly eroding the US system.

This, and Russia/China both know they are slowly losing control in their own country. They are trying to unify their own countries by doing this.

kinda. what happened in 2014 was a small contested part of the ukraine who, from what i recall, where mostly in favour of joining Russia, and whos population was mostly comprised of russians.

thats different than a full scale military invasion of a sovereign nation in europe.

Russia and china are still scared of the US, rightfully so.. they would get absolutely shietrekt by USA/NATO. why do you think china hasnt invaded taiwan? its not because they cant.

Not going to happen. Plus Russia can be hit within minutes without land based missiles in Ukraine, due to stealth subs.

The Ukraine should have never disarmed their nukes on the faux promise that the US would protect them from Russian aggression.
