feels very strange because houses are so expensive around Toronto.


I'm waiting until the interest rate goes up and the housing market cools down next year spring to buy maybe a duplex or couple houses.


So I have paper cash sitting around. What should I do? All in on BITCOIN?

it's a seller's market. i had 3 offers on the first day. people in China were making offers without seeing it. Ultimately sold to a local couple.

Condo prices in Toronto have been going up almost non-stop for the last 22 years despite fluctuations in interest rates, I don't know why you think they'll break that trend now

You need to move or you're gonna be buying back into an even more inflated market

Have you calculated in the cost of insanely high rent for 1-2 years? Prices of houses are not going to go down THAT much, if at all.

I guarantee at best you come out even. Should have just kept the house if the only reason you sold it was that you thought you could beat the market.

Everything that I have read says the housing market is not slowing down anytime soon. People are just moving to less expensive areas driving up prices. So basically, millionaires are going to keep driving up prices in your area, and you won't have the money to rebuy unless you downgrade.

you know i was thinking about selling in 2020. my agent buddy put it on the market for 2 weeks. I got one offer for 900K.

I waited 1 year and netted 460K. I can't even make this up.

Prices are for sure coming down in 2022, this is irrefutable.
