Forza Horizon 5 from an entertainment standpoint, but I feel like I would give it to Halo Infinite, it's truly an impressive entry in the series and a top quality video game, the kinda game that defines AAA production in the best ways possible.

What I've played off the top of my head that's new:
Bowser's Fury
Metroid Dread (currently playing)
Cyberpunk (Dec 2020, not sure if you consider this new or not)
Halo Infinite

Out of what I've played, Halo is the GOTY IMO. I've seen what happened with CoD and Battlefield, and watched Rockstar make a mockery of themselves with their "definitive edition". The fact Bungie/343 as an AAA studio was able to produce a multiplayer FPS that didn't suck balls when apparently every other franchise has decided to gobble golf balls is impressive to me.

Also having multiplayer completely free and charging only for the campaign is a really good idea to promote the game and keep it active online.

Halo infinite. I wouldn't have said Halo if the campaign didn't turn out so well. It's truly rare for a free (or 60 dollar game if you don't gamepass) to have both incredible single and multiplayer.

The campaign was awesome, the new open world dynamic worked out so incredibly well for it.

The multiplayer is fun and more game modes are incoming. I can play casual with my sucky friends and ranked with my sweaty friends. Best of both worlds, totally free even without gamepass.

Forza 5 close second but. I feel biased because I play on a racing wheel sim setup

Everything i want in a game is there SRS

1) - Challenge (most important for me or otherwise i lose interest) - The game is challenging but yet fair. It is punishing but every time i died it was my fault and i was ready to do it again plus you learn something new after every death and unluck some new items to make the nest run easier. Also when you do beat a mission you feel a sense of satisfaction about it kinda like you feel with dark souls.

2) Graphics look amazing much better than black spiderman imo.

3) Gameplay is perfect 0 glitches smooth 60 fps 4k with raytracing (very rare to see that nowadays as most games come out full of bugs). Guns feel great all feel different and are fun to use.

4) Story is very interesting and engaging i always wanted to learn more about the main character and what is going on with her. The story is the perfect way of giving you just enough information to get you hooked and keep you wanting to learn more about it. I ended up beating the game twice to get a secret ending.

5) Bosses are very interesting challenging fair and fun. For example, there is a boss that plays the piano and during that level you can hear him playing the piano faintly at start but as you get closer and closer it gets louder and finally, when you reach him you can fully hear and see him playing it as you are fighting him very cool boss.

Me and my friend decided to play it takes two the game that won game of the year and it is a good game but its not challenging at all a 5 year old could play and beat it ...the story is also eh more of a kid story. We also ran into few glitches and in some instances the cut scenes were jittery.

I gotta say Halo Infinite by a wide margin. It's so familiar yet new at the same time, which is something I haven't felt in a long time about a game. The open world utterly changes the entire dynamic of Halo, and it reminded me of the times I'd be driving on the second mission of Combat Evolved, where you drive around the grassy hills. I keep exploring and I do what I want, when I want, and I'm not limited to a set narrative.

Yknow, I've gotta admit that my one fault with the game is definitely the story. I didn't have a got damn CLUE wtf was going on! I mean, I have absolutely terrible ADHD & didn't pay much attention, but still...the plot was only vaguely coherent to me.

That being said, the gameplay & graphics were absolutely top-notch
