Some guidance/positivity heading into the weekend/holidays/life
One thing 2020-2022 taught me is that every bit of news, every person you listen to and associate with, every bit of energy you bring into your life, every thought, and every action is within your next choice so make it a wise choice. Your decisions and actions are things you control. It is very simple...if you want to be more successful, talk to people who are successful and ask them about their plan. Make a plan for yourself and work on it. You want a better relationship or you want a relationship, talk to people have great relationships and talk to people who are happy without a partner. Don't commiserate with people who are broke if you are broke. Don't talk abut how sad it is that you are alone to people. Listen to what others did to make their lives meaningful and happy. Make your life meaningful and happy and talk about that. Create a life that you want instead of complaining about what you don't want. I'm not saying everything is within your control, but doing things in a positive direction consciously is within your control, and doing things to help the world without expecting anything in return adds great value to your soul and happiness level. Working with your thoughts and deciding who and what to turn the volume up on and who to turn the volume down on and what and who to press pause or stop on is within your control. I’m not saying to have no compassion for traumatized people, but I am saying…you only have so much time. Align your soul with what you want to experience. YOU have the right to be happy. I would add to Walker’s statement that waiting is futile and puts you in a powerless position. You can’t force anyone to do or be anything for you. You really do have to be the change you want to see in the world. And that is hard work.

Repped dude good sh!t
I’ll go on Twitter and see a bunch of bullish!t about covid or something dumb that a politician said and it’ll make me pissed off. Need to stop doing that and just control what I can control.
Been trying to cut my screen time more and more every week and it has made me feel a lot better

makes sense. The whole pandemic/covid years have really opened my eyes up to things tbh. I've definitely matured a hell of a lot and become so much more self aware. Unless maybe its just an age thing (28-30 sort of age)
I've spent a lot of time thinking about the type of man I want to be in 5,10,20 years time and reflecting on what decisions I would be doing right now in order to achieve that.
Everyone knows what is good for them and what is bad for them. If you can become aware of when you are about to participate in something bad and not do it and stick to that over time, you will see massive changes.
Likewise, if you can avoid bad habits and stay consistent with putting effort into good habits, then you will experience substantial positive changes (marginal gains) - think if a ship makes a 3 degree bearing change in the ocean at first its neglible but over weeks it will be a completely different destination.
The same goes for thoughts, mindset, who you spend time with, what websites you visit, what newspapers you read etc. E.g. reading dailymail or the sun everyday or buzzfeed, will have different outcomes to reading forbes, bloomberg, FT, WSJ etc.
