Gonna be the Mrs, my in-laws, my brother-in-law, and my 1 yr old son.
We agreed no gifts this year. Just money. Lol
Having crab legs, lobster tails, and prawns. Really looking forward to that.
I miss my family back in Michigan.

The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Shopping is done. Still waiting on few packages, we'll see if they make it. We went pretty basic for individual presents this year. Instead, we're doing a projector in the basement as a family gift. I'm painting a screen on the wall intead of a traditional movie screen. I figured it would be less likely to get damaged by kids and easier to repair. It's been a lot of prep work to get a smooth flat surface, but I think I'm going to finish the project on Christmas eve. We wired for sound when we built the house and I have been installing surround sound speakers, too.
For food we always do a ribeye roast, oven browned potatoes, and yorkshire pudding. My mother-in-law is coming for a few weeks and we'll also have my parents and brother for Christmas day, so my wife and I will be cooking for 11, but we'll have lots of help.
