Preppers blow my mind srs

Why do people who think the world economy will collapse into chaos also think that their random e-coin will save their ass? Same thing with people that hoard gold coins or ingots. At least the people who hoard firearms have a point that they can use it for defense or whatever but you still can't eat bullets or live an interesting life with it.

I don't think the world is going to collapse into some wasteland about time soon but if it did the reality is we'd all probably fuked. If you think this will happen because of a bunch of rich fuks in elite circles you'd be wrong as they know they're the first ones to go if **** ever hit the fan and I don't think they'd enjoy being the kings of the dump.

White people being so terrified of being perceived as racist/sexist/*ist that they’ll ruin each other’s lives over the slightest infraction is the greatest entertainment of our time.

I kindve agree on the money part. I’ve been stocking up on food, guns and ammo for a while. That’s what’ll give me the best chance imo.

Ramen is cheap and last a while. Fortified spot won’t be easy to find and plenty of firearms to ensure that if it is, it won’t be easily taken.

Having a year supply of food, 10k rounds, and 2-4 firearms is all you need period. No need to make it a hobby or obsess over it.

Gold/Silver, 10-20% of your portfolio PHYSICAL is just plain smart. Its done nothing if not at LEAST keeping pace with inflation.

Well,

How you prep depends on what you think the catastrophe is going to be.

You have valid point if we're talking about total societal collapse. At that point the only things that will matter are food, shelter, and means to protect those things.

If the world collapsed then the preppers and hoarders would be the first ones who get robbed lol.

Imagine a desolate wasteland dotted with family groups with full inventories lol.

If they can't rob you then your kids would become targets of trades.

It would be better to be able to stay on the move and gather.

If you stay in one visible spot, you will be easily hunted.

If you are moral then you will be culled.

You can't protect it because those who have nothing will gather into savage roving gangs.

You, your wife and your kids can't defend against a mob from a static location.

I would keep my family separate from the stashes and gather as needed.
