Christmas dinner is being cooked by vegans. Wut do?

I passed on vegan Thanksgiving, but I'm staying with my cousins for Christmas now and they are vegans. I found out today that their Christmas ham is gonna be vegan and made from soy. They will be offended if I don't join them for dinner. I'm gonna see if I can catch COVID before then as an excuse to quarantine before Christmas, unless any of you have better idea.

Ive dated a couple girls who were not meat eaters, One veggie and one vegan. Honestly they cook better than most sloots cause they have to make up for the meat with good flavouring. The idea of a soy ham doesn't sound good, but id bet the food overall will be good

Worst case you make a ham roast at home soon after

Id happily eat it. People can fuk up meat dishes more easily than some veggie/soy foam whatever. Badly prepared meat can be a whole nother level of terrible vs bad vegetable whatever.

Depends. Most of the Hindu vegetarians I've known have very good diets (although they make up for it with tons of sugar). Most of the animal rights types eat horribly. My wife has a friend that I think subsists almost entirely on microwave bean burritos and mac and cheese.

I’m mostly vegan since I live In fruit and nuts California but my ED nutritionist wants me to add in eggs and Greek yogurt so it’s a tough adjustment.

I had a vegan burger for lunch and it was delicious today.

Have you tried the Impossible burger yet? You really can’t tell the difference. But when I go to dinners I don’t impose my vegetarianism on to others. Sometimes I just have a protein shake before I go and then eat their non-meat dishes.

You could do the same and just eat meat before.
