Saw it last night. First time in a theater in 2 years.

Presently surprised at how enjoyable it was. No SJW crap and it was very respectful to the both previous Peter Parkers. Garfield was great, much better than his own movies.

The first cameo (a few minutes in) got hand claps from the audience.

Willem Dafoe never fails to deliver. Solid 10/10 performance. Guy who is Doc Ock was also great.

Was nice to see Tobey on screen again. Dude probably hasn't done anything since Spiderman 3, not like he needs to. Don't know anything about the middle spiderman, but he was fine too.

And.. **spoilers**

I was hoping for more Venom, but I guess that's coming...

I'll watch it but no expectations.

I stopped going into movies with expectations a while ago.

I'd have to say GoTG 2 really sealed the deal for my apathetic attitude towards movies.

The movie had its good parts like Andrew saving MJ but it was subparr throughout. Far from home had the best CGI and the dreamy Jake Gylinhall.

William Dafoe is a goat actor but I want to see a new Villian.

Also, if they were going to just fight old villians, just make it focused on the Green Goblin and let Dafoe really shine. He was just here and there. Im all for revisiting and revising old plots but this was hella weak.

Spider-Man 2 was about Parker balancing his life between Spider-Man and his actual one.

I like how No Way Home had a theme of choices have consequences even if you have good intentions.

The Andrew Garfield ones had this emotional impact with Gwen Stacy where he promised her father that he keeps her out of danger.

Please help me know what happened before the doc oc scene on the highway bridge where he saves the woman who says she will speak to the school about him and his friends. I got to the movie really late and that's where we caught it from. What happened prior?
