I think it's a good move to move your cash into anything that's going to grow these next few years. With the inflation this bad you want some high growth. 20% at least just to keep up.

And therein lies the issue.

Inflation is starting to outpace growth in most investments.

Stock markets are taking a turn downward. Bonds and interest rates will stay in the gutter. Gold has been pretty stagnant. Real estate has likely peaked. Wages are not keeping up despite the lack of available workers.

Typically in times like these, central banks lower interest rates.

Can't do that when they're already at or near 0. They might go negative, but with inflation already so stupid high, it's just throwing fuel on the fire.

We're starting to experience stagflation and what is likely the start of an implosion of the financial markets. The central banks will keep doing the only thing they know how to do and have always done: sacrifice currency to get us out of it. I hope nobody is holding large amounts of cash.

Realise this is an unpopular opinion but: I think it still has a way to go. Yes I’m putting my money where my mouth is.
