Who’s the most annoying, stupid, consequential TV character wife?
I noticed one trait and it is they tend to make reckless decisions behind their husbands back I’m surprised feminists aren’t protesting this trend as sexism
1. Skyler White
2. Wendy Byrde
3. Peggy Hill
4. Claire underwood (did a lot of stupid women thing but was clearly the smartest on this list)
I’d say on the more reasonable side of things
1. Tony sopranos wife
2. Saul good man’s girlfriend
1. Skyler White
2. Wendy Byrde
3. Peggy Hill
4. Claire underwood (did a lot of stupid women thing but was clearly the smartest on this list)

Skyler for sure. That scene where she told Walt that she fukked Ted and she just rubbed it in - pure evil. Wish she was in the room with Fring and Salamanca at ding ding time.
Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

No one ever notices this but she always wears purple, her purse, shoes, everything. Her carpets are purple, her bedspreads, paintings, everything is purple. OCD maybe? I still want to introduce her to my purple helmet.

Carmella Soprano. Wanted all the perks and stature that comes with being a powerful/connected Tony. But undermines and complains about everything he does.

Mary Cooper from Young Sheldon
Only real female mother/wife that really annoyed me from TV sitcoms.
I don't really recall the mothers/wife's from most 90s TV sitcoms as being annoying, stupid or consequential.

For a currently running show, Monica from Yellowstone. She's always mopey or angry at something, constantly complains, coddles that boy way too much not to mention one of those SJW when she was teaching, had an affair (or came close to having one, can't remember). In other words a good example of the typical modern female. The only thing going for her is the glow is off the charts. I wish she would get killed off or something because she brings nothing of value.

Came in to poster Sklyer lol. But, according to her, male fans who dislike her character are all sexists, so fukin way she goes.
The mom in Malcolm was a huge kunt as well but she was really entertaining in a way. Skyler was just grating.

“For example, the color for Walter's alter ego, Heisenberg, which is often green, is created by mixing the colors of his two closest partners, Skyler, who often wears blue, and Jesse, who often wears yellow. Further, Heisenberg is opposed by Hank, who often wears shades of orange, ranging from red to brown, which is located on the opposite side of the color wheel from green. Marie, being the sister of Skyler and wife of Hank, is represented by purple, which sits between blue and red colors on the color wheel.
While Walter's signature product is sky blue in color, the meth made in the show technically should be yellow. The characters' relationships to the drug is represented by their colors' locations relative to yellow on the color wheel. Marie is farthest from the meth drug trade, being neither a user, cook, hired hand, nor narcotics officer, and is represented by purple which is opposite yellow on the color wheel. The characters that are closest to the drug, principally the cooks Walter White, Jesse Pinkman, and Gale Boetticher, all wear yellow jumpsuits in the meth lab and frequently wear yellow in other scenes of the show. Gustavo Fring, while not a meth cook, wears a yellow shirt when working at his fast-food chicken restaurant Los Pollos Hermanos. Skyler White and Hank Schrader, and their colors, represent two end-member relationships to the drug trade and Walter White. Skyler's blue represents loyalty and peace, while Schrader's red represents violence and anger. Partners who are loyal to Walter White receive money (represented by green, a mixture of blue and yellow), while those who oppose him are met with violence (represented by orange, a mixture of red and yellow).”
I know it’s tldr, but he put lots of thought into that show. It’s insane.

Skylar was unlikeable but i feel like it made for a better show. Walter needed a wife like that, it worked perfectly and it created so many GOAT moments like when he's looking for the money in the crawl space and she says she gave it all to Ted. The scene with her, the baby, and the knife where Walter takes off in the old truck is one of the best moments in the show's entire run.
overall i don't remember her negatively.
Lori on Walking Dead gets my vote, this link from above

Marge Simpson - She has her moments, but she's pretty worthless for the most part. Has no job aside from a few episode long gigs, has a ridiculous hairstyle/fashion style even by Simpsons character standards, rarely funny, and constantly moaning and groaning while she nags at Homer about mostly stupid crap. Yeah Homer is an idiot, but he was a decent enough guy. He certainly didn't deserve to constantly get his balls busted by some boring, unemployed blue haired broad who was barely any smarter than he was.
