Is There A “Nice” Way To Tell A Girl To Leave You Alone?

I am a very introverted person and I am the type to need his space from time to time. A problem I keep running into is these girls want to message throughout the entire day. I have one girl who messages everyday and continuously…I’ll leave her on read and she will text me 15-30 minutes later to tell me about some unimportant activity she is doing or she’ll say “what are you doing” or something along those lines. She isn’t the first girl to do this, I’ve run into this issue many times. I often end up blocking them or ghosting them.

This is a reason I don’t give my phone number to 95% of girls. Don’t get me wrong I love feminine attention but it seems these girls catch feels to quickly, I already told this chick I have no interest in a relationship right now, so she’s aware it’s more of a friends with benefits type thing but she still wants to talk all the time as if we are a couple or something.

I am actually in the same boat and was thinking of making a post like this - so if anyone has advice, I will take it as well.

Girl I am "talking" to (waiting days for a message back) and I just want to stop the messages for the upcoming new year and just focus on myself.

I'd like not to get on her bad side in case something happens in the future, so anyways to just "ghost" her w/o really ghosting here would be appreciated.

I am gonna piggy back on your post a bit since I need an answer as well lol.

I almost never message first, that’s something that seems to be problematic for these girls. Because I want the girls to message me when they feel like talking to me and aren’t busy. I give plenty of space to them. But that same respect doesn’t seem to be getting reciprocated, maybe it’s because they are used to guys thirsting after them so they think no guy will mind if they message him constantly.

She literally just messaged me now “I miss you so <3”. I said we just talked a few hours ago, and she literally just said “what are you doing” I seriously can’t deal with this.

So, should I just pull back and just not respond anymore and see if she write back, if at all?

I'd rather not ruin my chances with her however, waiting days for responses is getting pretty lame and I'd rather not bring that lame energy into 2022.

This chick is just out of a 9 year relationship by the way, she’s like 3 months out. I am one year out of a 5 year relationship. She seems like the type to get attached easily.

Yeah, then just slowly work into messaging her every once in a while or wait for her to message you and when she does make the most out that convo and then try to distance yourself for a while till you are ready to devote more time to the situation.

Most girls are unreliable/flakey, this girl seems that way. I had a similar situation, I thought me and this woman were a perfect math with amazing chemistry. After a while she was only messaging me like how you describe to check her to do list almost.

It’s interesting many females fall into one of these spectrums. One end are the clingy types, the other the flakey types. It’s gotta be a very small percentage of the female that knows how to balance things.
