Not making any effort to start new relationships is okay if that isn't a priority for you. I'm not saying you have to be on apps, just that if you sit home all the time and never see anyone then odds are you won't be meeting potential partners.

Dating's not like fukking weightlifting where you need to grind on your own before you can bench 2 plates or chit. It's a sales job where you need to be reaching your target audience.
