Misc Island BB
Because the world has gone absolutely mad.
I'm drawn to smaller quieter places and then again I like fast internet, easy access to goods and travel, and at least having the *tiniest* possibility that I might find a good friend or three and get laid again before I die.

1] Cammarata, Italy- a mountain village south of Palermo [not exactly an island]
Claims that they are giving old fixer uppers to people willing to live there.
2] Antithekyra, Greece- tiny populace and the Greek Orthodox Church is trying to get families to come and join them.
Least appealing IMO. Says only 20 people there. Lovely weather though I would expect.
3] Mauritius-seem to be trying to promote new small businesses with a small monthly stipend
Looks beautiful, availability of goods and quality of things like medical services/travel might be questionable.
4] Arranmore, Ireland- 8 square miles cay off NW of Ireland with about 500 inhabitants and high speed internet access; potential for a business grant
But how is the weather though?
5] Sark, England- special program for those with EU, EEA, or Swiss ID to move there without a visa, set to expire Dec. 31 [extended?]
About 500 people and could be kind of lovely if you fit in with the locals. No motorized vehicles on the island + dark skies = quiet, lots of birds and such, great star gazing.
6] Isle of Rum, Scotland- monetary offers, housing for specific occupations they are trying to attract
So tiny. 20 people.
7] South Island, New Zealand-unsure if this is up to date, but it seems that they *were* trying to attract workers as they didn't have enough for their tourist season
Um, NZ can be kind of gorgeous from things I've seen. But super corona crazy is a big no thanks.

Sad. I've only been to England once and it was in summer. My skin looked amazing, but too much dreary weather gets me down.
