Doc thinks I got strep because Covid and flu weakened my immune system enough to give it a opportunistic infection.

Yes strep is the ****ing worst. It feels like you got the worst sun burn ever in your throat and someone is actively scratching it with a knife. Can’t eat can’t drink can’t swallow

Also because I have the flu I constantly have not building up in my throat which clearing further irritates

Doctor told me strep usually precedes viral infections a month ago when I had a really bad sore throat. May have been strep and then got covid after.
