Who was that ****get miscer who was always whining about stolen land? Can't remember his name.

Anyway, we definitely screwed over the Indians but i always have one question for anyone who brings up the stolen land thing. Who would we give it back to? The tribe we conquered? The tribe they conquered? The tribe before that?

We didn't do anything to them that they weren't doing to other tribes before we got there. And they definitely made captives, white or other tribes, their slaves.

I understand that Native Americans aren’t completely innocent in all this. During the wars they would attack white farmers and those traveling through their land. They would raid and take livestock and resources for themselves.

It’s just sad to see how it all played out and that they are dealt such a crap hand in todays modern society and there’s no easy solution to the extreme poverty that faces the reservations.
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

How do you think Europeans conquered the Americas so easy? Because the hundreds of different tribes all hated and wanted to genocide each other and take their land.

Cortez defeated the greatest American empire,the Aztecs, who had like half a million warriors. He did it with only 500 European soldiers. It wasn't because of tech or guns or tactics. He allied with neighboring tribes who hated the Aztecs cuz they would enslave them, torture them, use them for human sacrifice by the thousands at a time. The neighboring tribes all wanted to be the big honcho, so they allied with the White man, before then turning once again on eachother when the Aztecs were gone. The took their shot and lost. Now they wanna be mad cuz the White man was the last one standing in the end.

They should be on their knees every single day thanking the White man for not completely genocide their lineage, like they did to their enemies. We could have. The only reason they are even still around to complain is because of White benevolence.

I'll give you a specific example. The Black Hills were occupied by the Arikaras as the earliest known documented tribe (they took the land from someone, but it can't be specified who). The land was then taken by the Crow, then Kiowa, then Arapahoe, then Cheyenne, and finally the Sioux in the late 1700s. A hundred years later, it was conquered by whites. In fact, Arikaras helped white soldiers to do so.

Most of those tribes still exist today. If we were to give it back, who would we give it to? When those tribes conquered each other, they burned villages to the ground, and took women as forced wives and children. Slavery among conquered women and children (men were usually executed) is well known. Whose sins should be forgiven and get the land in your opinion?
