He's one man. At most, he'd be able to knock one out, and that dead politician would be easily replaced. The guy meanwhile would be vilified as a violent, murderous radical. Look at how malevolent these anti-vaxxers are!

By doing this he's going to get a lot more sympathy. This gets much more of a "wtf" reaction. I see what you're saying though, and yes that's also action that needs to take place. Going after the people enforcing these mandates and laws would only really be effective with a decent mass of people pushing behind it, and guys that do off the wall desperate chit like this is often what starts to get people together.

In either case, dude reached a breaking point and did something, however crazy it was.

Lold there were hundreds of thousands of people in Victoria protesting the bill that allowed their Premier to have tyrant level control over "Pandemic laws". They protested for days..

The bill still passed. There's still mandates. There's still restriction.

The reality is if you want things to change you have to hurt them financially or physically. Why do you think governments and drug cartels are so successful? Just lol at trying to reach out to 'morality' and 'justice'.

No, I agree 100% with this. Just saying chit like this pulls on heartstrings of other people also pissed off, and helps push them to the point you're talking about where they finally take the fight directly to these tyrants, physically.

Usually you're supposed to do it out in the open, at some place significant, and in front of a large crowd of people. Imagine if someone pulled that chit on the 50 yard line in the middle of the Super Bowl halftime show? It sends a message that would never be forgotten.
