You def wanna learn muay thai if you want to have a well rounded striking game, but I think it's better to start with boxing first to develop good footwork & head movement.

There's nothing more annoying than someone yelling 'let's go' over and over again.

It's one thing if it's a team sport and you are on the team. But just some random guy in the crowd yelling 'let's go' like he's somehow a part of what he's watching is just insufferable.

He was fkin around, dodging and blocking punches until he got hit hard and as the guy above me said, his ego took over and decided to plant a clean one in.

Sparring untrained people is like sparring a child. It’s ridiculously easy and could knock them out at will. That’s why it’s douchy what the Asian guy did, it’s bullying almost.

Easier to land those clean hits on someone who's tired than someone who is fresh.

yeah the korean guy has been doing these videos before. usually its very light hearted. its a terrible idea and that is why you dont see famous pros doing this stuff. He let his emotions get to him a bit because homeboy actually landed a few sloppy punches on him and usually he doesnt get hit at all, so then embarrassed he knocks him out with a hook, ok now what? you guys are on concrete and he dont even have head protection, what kind of criminal and legal liabilities is he risking himself with for youtube videos. its pretty stupid

that is what the korean guy does is do these show off sparrings with untrained guys, usually nothing comes of it, they usually dont land on him at all. which makes me think he got more carried away since this guy landed sloppy shots on his face
