I was living in Brooklyn in 2005 and it was pretty cool

In the polish area but many spoke Russian

Dunno what it’s like now though

Wouldn’t have lived in Manhattan even back then

New Yorkers are The BEST people in the world, with the intelligence, strength and whatever more all these hillbillies lack.

We aren't afraid of no one, no situation and we'll tell you off in a second if you mess with us. We're confident and better than everyone else elsewhere....Plus we have the best accent. You wish you were like us! We have the best pizzas and bagels. And our drivers will kick your ass if you don't move on a red light...cause we're fast. We don't have time to waste.

WE have the BEST food, music, fashion, culture...and yes we're cocky, conceited and we're *******s...but hey that's LIFE.

Deal with it, hillbillies.

NYC is one of the best places to live in the world if you got money or want to make bank. Times square sucks though and most people go there when they visit.

Imagine eating steak in on vacation in NYC. Lmao at going to the best Italian place in the US and being unable to find good pizza and eating steak at tourists traps. Yes we have a million pizza places in NYC so you can easily eat garbage if you don't know anything.

NYC has a bit of everything from culture to food. Lots of people go there to try and make it big, but also lots go there just to live it up, or rot.

Being close to Europe w/ a short flight is also nice, could do lots of trips I imagine. Other than this, no thanks jeff

I didn't qualify for EBT this year, but like 3 years ago I did. Nowadays I still continue to get free legal income from the state from back when I pretended to be mentally ill when I first moved to NYC.(oscar winning performance btw) Worked out just fine. I just do whatever I want all day everyday these days

I like NYC. Just stay in Manhattan south of 110 on the West and Q Train and below on the east. Stay out of Time Square and Penn Station/Herald Square areas unless you really need to be there(You don't if you don't work there). Don't go on train outside normal hours(I've never had issues though).

Love neighborhoods like West/Greenwich/East village, LES, UWS. Great food, amazing rooftop bars. **** Brooklyn though, **** the Bronx, and **** Queens unless you're there to watch a game or get Indian, Mexican, Thai, or Chinese food.

Same reason people want to live in Los Angeles. They think the city is all bright lights, glamor, and prestige.
