The extension of the average life span owes more to improvements in quality of life and environmental conditions.

The air quality is 100x worse than it was in the 19th century; we now ingest dozens of unnatural chemicals daily that didn't exist prior to the 20th century



The reason people used to have 7+ kids before 1900 is because half of them wouldn't make it to 6 years old due to diseases we now vaccinate for

Modern medications/testing is the sole reason the average lifespan isn't 50 anymore
