I've had a few Mossberg 500's. They have served me well. They were around 3 or 4 hundred 15 years ago, I don't know what they run now

It will...It's cheap and very dependable. Load it with a couple buckshot or slugs and you'll be good.

99% of the AR15s on the market these days are quality. Pick one and grab a red dot plus a bunch of Pmags.

shotgun makes a lot of sense

but (and i know everyone will call me a bitch for this) IMO, just get a .22 now and a shotgun later... or just get both at the same time... lots of good ones but a version of the ruger 10/22 is pretty ubiquitous so you can find it everywhere

is it the best for home defense? definitely not, but i'd say for a beginner, the most important thing is getting as much training as you can right away... shooting .22LR will let you do that without going broke

learn the basics with a 22 then get a shotgun, bigger rifle, pistol or whatever

Colt CR6920 (AR15 pattern)
Zastava ZPAP M70 (AK pattern)
Mossberg 590 (12 gauge pump)
Remington 870 (12 gauge pump
Beretta 1301 Tactical (12 gauge semi auto)

Any of these will stop a libtard in their tracks.

If you have never fire a gun, take some classes. Safety is no joke.

Can’t go wrong with a G19 and a “cheaper”5.56 AR. Invest the rest in ammo.

I was a first time plandemic gun buyer. Ended up with a budget pistol (no Hi Point), budget 12 guage, and budget 30-06. And a recurve bow for fun.

You should own a .22 LR longgun in case you need to get small varmints or hunt food
You should own at least one pistol, preferably one you can conceal. I suggest 9mm.
You should own one long gun (scary black rifle) I suggest AR-15 pattern easily available ammo
You should own one shotgun 12 G is best.

The rest is optional fill in the collection, but these 4 are non negotiable IMO.

I prefer the gun you only have to fire once. Just bump your limit up to about 2 grand…

Desert Eagle 50 AE. That’s 50 caliber.
