Does death scare you
Frankly, I'm just afraid of dying in a painful way, like burning alive, or having a disease like cancer.

not really. Just would suck to have my family left without me but that's about it
Even if you think about burning alive or drowning it's like 1-2 minutes of pain and then peace... in the grand scheme of things not relevant.

Physical act of dying or pain, no.
Losing my parents, loved ones, myself and knowing it all comes to an end - terrifying for me. Biggest insecurity by far. I have a very small family, and a small social circle. I think it's going to hit me really hard when my parents pass.

Only dying too soon or for no reason at all.
I would gladly die in battle amongst brothers for a worthy case.

No. I've accepted a long time ago that life is uncertain and entropy defines it all. I could die today crossing the street. It frees up your mind seeing the world through this lens. I don't care about covid, about vaccines, about anything really. What happens will happen.
We're all eventually going to end up being absorbed into the earth and feeding another organism. Circle of life.

I passed out once and when I came to I had a real sense of terror around that experience of blackness and nothing. Hope it was just an emotional interpretation of a physical event.
Best case seems like being reunited with those you have lost. Second an eternal nothing. Third reincarnation. Worst would be living this same life again over and over because time is an illusion and there is only an eternal now which we experience as time passing.
As much as I miss those I've lost I don't want to do this again.

Sometimes I trip out when I look at my hands and think how F'ing crazy it is that I am even alive right now but will be gone soon enough.
I am so lucky I even had the chance to be alive in the first place..... might as well have fun instead of dreading the inevitable

Working in a hospital has changed how I see death both for myself and for others. Nothing worse than seeing family members wailing in the hallways completely grief stricken. Yeah I am afraid, but like others said, more so for the death of loved ones than myself. Also, the thought of just being snuffed out of existence into blackness does not sit very well for me. I can see why people of faith believe what they believe.

The thought of dying a painful death is scary to me. Also dying suddenly and not having time to make sure my son would be ok without me. Other than that I'm not really scared of death.

Rarely think about it.
I don't want to do, but it feels so distant that it doesn't cross my mind much. If I make it to old age I'm sure I'll think about it more often.

I don't fear it. I died a couple times overdosing when I was young. Not religious but do think there is something else out there after death.
