The burbs are becoming a traffic nightmare. Tradies need to speed up the road expansion projects.

I'm not concerned about the Mexicans, I'm concerned about the Calicucks ruining our open land and housing market, and all the Haitians and other immigrant trash they're importing on boats.

I remember flying into LAX around 1982 and wondering why there was a brown haze over everything.
Now we have it here too.
Some days more than others. It's not like it was this way when I got here. The population density went from 215 people per square mile to 823 people per square mile in my lifetime.
ETA: We went from around Asheville or Wilson NC density to closing in on Tampa Metro density.

I’d stick to the coast for sure, though San Antonio looks nice 👍

You can keep Dallas, OP, lol. Easily one of the worst cities in America w/ zero culture. At least Houston has greenery and whatnot to give the city some life in between it's strip malls. Dallas is literally just a flat prairie filled w/ 30K millionaires whose idea of a good time is going to Dave & Busters on Saturday and watching Dem Cowboys on Sunday.

The atlanta area is past 6 mil now, which is why I live an hour away and never go there unless my job makes me.
With the exception of not needing a car(which Id hate anyway), big cities suck in every way.

The only people moving to DFW are Mexicans, and not the cool ones. The ones straight from the barrios in Juarez or De Efe.

Los Angeles metro has more people than every state other than Texas, Florida and New York.

- drivers that think they are in NASCAR
- drivers not really paying attention to their driving
- drivers traveling below the posted speed limit
- good number of drunk drivers; no major beef w/Mexican people, but they do like to drink and drive
- poor road design and/or poor signage + construction
= 11 fatalities on Texas roads per day

Are they still $30K millionaires? I know what you mean, just curious because we were calling them that back in 2001. Maybe $50K millionaires? 'Cause inflation.
There is good stuff here- attractions, jobs, diverse/not super woke. Too many people now though. Every bit of open land seems to be getting carpeted with warehouses, apartments, and homes.
The cities didn't used to be quite so smushed together. In the 50's my dad would ride his bicycle from Hurst to the Fort Worth Zoo where he volunteered in the herpetarium. It's about 14 miles.
I can't imagine anyone being cool with their teenager doing that now.
