The NFL rulebook reads: "(W)hen an official sounds the whistle erroneously while the ball is still in play, the ball becomes dead immediately." The play is not reviewable. Nonetheless, the touchdown stood.
Whats the rule for this bull****????

Now im more sold that the NFL is after the Raiders. So Glad Gruden is suing the **** out of them. Goodell needs to be out as commissioner.

whistle came maybe 1/3 of a second before he caught it for a TD. probably why they didn't have a re do. made no difference.

whining about this is the same as crying about some technicality that in actuality didn't affect the game at all, like the whistle here.

not only that but on the drive after there was some BS call for roughing the passer where david carr whipped his head back and put on a show. refs called it. that was to make amends for it.

This. Boyd was catching this no matter what and they confirmed Burrow threw it before going out of bounds

It was a nothing burger, Raiders had plenty of opportunity to win

lol none of those are egregious at all.

he wasn't out of bounds, the whistle blew like mid-throw. nothing would've changed.

particularly find the Chase "push off" funny. fans crying about stuff like that are dorks. that's barely a call mid-season let alone in a big playoff game. you want more refs or less refs which is it? you are a total loser if you get bothered by non-calls like that.

What about that ridiculous call on Renfrow. Somehow catching the ball and taking two giant steps in-field is an incomplete pass....
