I don't doubt that carbon emissions have some impact on climate. Although I don't think it would be the end of the world like they say I will be. There sure is a lot of hypocrisy... Look who's buying up all the beach front property on the Atlantic despite claiming it's all going to be under water in 30 years. The earth has a history of freezing and thawing. We still have ice caps on our poles from the last ice age. Eventually it will melt whether humans are here or not....

Would recommend jre podcast with Randall Carlson. I think he's onto something and has lots of facts and data to prove his points. I think catastrophic events like meteorites would be our biggest threat. Super interesting speaker as well.

My big thing - everything seems to be about slowing down the inevitable and I have yet to hear of anyone putting money towards how we are going to handle it. If it is going to be as world changing as they claim and within the next hundred years (with some claims that the world changing milestones will be reached sooner) there should be more plans about what to do rather than generically slowing it down.
