The kid just turned 6 and he is planning his future this way. Meanwhile your son cant even fall asleep without his mom around most likely because he felt abandoned by you. When its bedtime, my kids brush their teeth, we then sit down and have a conversation about their day and they ask me questions about whatever is on their minds. Then they put themselves down.

And the MISC wonders why there are so many chit people running around. A lot has to do with chit parents.

I applied a combination of different methods that I thought were positive influences in my life from kid all the way up until now. Both from people I know (father, mentors, etc) and people I have never met that have sound, pragmatic ways of thinking (like Jocko).

I treat them like humans. I speak to them like growing men, not babies or kids, and I hold them accountable for their actions and commitments like men. Of course its modified since they are only 6 and 8 but we talk about real stuff, not Ryan's toy review and other BS like I see some kids talking to their parents about.
