I don't rag on manlets, but if I did this thread would get me to instantly stop. Getting psychological help would likely be cheaper and more effective.

OP, do these surgeons require you to get counseling prior to the surgery? I think you're making a big mistake messing with your legs. What are you going to do if you end up in a wheelchair for the rest of your life?

I've spent at least $400 dollars so far to see a couple specialists/get x-rays done who were not under my insurance plan. After the whole procedure I should be spending around 35k-40k USD total.

If I did this out of pure impulse rather than a calculated risk then the chances of my regretting the decision is way paramount than the act of accepting any possible regret later on.

Most US doctors as well as some ones out of the country require some form of counseling due to the sheer invasive nature of the surgery (to be quite honest it's not as bad as before, there's been major medical innovations when it comes to the techniques they offer that are minimum compared to before). Although the chances are very slim to nonexistent, if I end up in a wheelchair for the rest of my life I would have to remind myself that it was a risk that I was fully aware of happening.

I'm not doing it for any women. I explained a couple pages back why that reason alone wouldn't even be justifiable to get the operation done. I don't have any trouble with women either.
