Anyone see Dont Look Up on Netflix?

On the fence based on reviews, trailer is questionable, but the plot has promise.

the whole movie is supposed to be about liberals and global warming

I thouhgt it was about Covid, comet = covid, but I read more into it and its about global warming

basically the whole movie is liberals saying everyone who doesnt believe in global warming when its happening right in front of us is a moron and going to lead to the death of everyone, because as we know global warming is 100% manmade and will destroy the whole planet in 30 years.

They obviously made it trying to push global warming and to say that the republicans are so stupid for not believing it... but it backfired and accidentally became a great satire that shows how divided we are, not to trust the government/media, and that those in control are morons.

Don’t disagree here, but my kids have latched in to shows that are exclusive to Netflix.

They have also done the same to Amazon Prime, HBO max, Disney plus, Hulu and probably every other streaming service TBH.

It’s only like $10 a month so IDGAF

Just download it. ded srs. Same quality and downloads are fast af nowadays... than put it in a pen-drive and watch it on TV. easy as that. And you can use the 200bucks (per year) for anything else.

Netflix raised their prices a couple days ago.

It's now $20 for the 4k UHD Premium service or whatever

I'll pay for that much as long as they don't put ads

It's just not funny. They should've gone full Idiocracy. Or played it straight and "holy **** nobody is doing anything." They sorta did a little of both but it doesn't work.

Also Leo always kills it but his character didn't make sense here. He's supposed to be this Chad Scientist whose hotness goes viral but he's pudgy and dorky.

Saw it the other week. It's watchable imo. Just watched "Troy" again on Netflix the other day. Such an good intro fight scene. And Brad Pitt physique in that movie imo was his peak.
