For anyone that enjoys Ted Lasso - you need to check out Acapulco (also on Appletv). It's like a combo of Ted Lasso and the early seasons of How I Met Your Mother.
Generally felt happier after watching each ep - I just finished it today.




- Show jumps between 2021 and 1984, as main character tells his nephew about his young adulthood working at a beach resort
- Actually has a few surprising twists and turns in it
- Some attractive latinas
- One ep actually got me close to tears



Show is currently sitting at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Flashback and The Wave- trippy twisty dark movies with A list actors as the main characters and B actors but decent budgets.

The Wave is quite a bit depressing though
