All joking aside, having a daughter is probably awesome as well

From what I've learned, children aren't that hard if you have patience.
Best thing I did was teach them how to use the stairs, get on and off furniture, open doors and turn on water early. Now I know he's not curious about these things and going to hurt himself.
We also taught sign language beginning super early. At 7 months or so they can sign "more" "all done" "help" "potty" etc. We don't let them watch TV until 18 months old except one show called baby signing time because it helped with the sign language.

Built a PC in 2009 with an i7 920 with a 480. Over the years I upgraded ram, psu, ssd and went from 480 to something else to 980 and finally 1060. The computer has sat dormant for a while as I purchased prebuilds and handed old computers to employees.
Well this week I needed a PC for an employee to stream a somewhat intensive presentation and couldn't get a decent computer in a day. I broke out the old 2009 and it runs perfectly. Overclocked from 2.6 to 3.5ghz.
Moral of the story...Feels good man to have a PC you built in 2009 still be relevant in 2022.

I built my son’s PC when he was in middle school, and it’s still his gaming pc today in his college apartment. A few upgrades - graphics card, ram, more drives.

He’s moved into apple for the laptops and tablets school work

I watched The Eternals the other day. Why did they make Angelina Jolie's character retarded?

Assuming these two Teslas are programmed and not being manually controlled, I think this sort of performance could be very useful in helping Tesla benchmark and test their ****ty cars:

But it got me thinking about painting some of the characters. I loved Frank Miller's batman and wolverine (have wolverine 1 and several others of his low numbers...a bunch of random 1 off comics that surprisingly became valuable like a Raphael tmnt comic).
This lighting is terrible but it's night...

Gotta do a batman now...

Anybody have a show recommendation? I just finished the Witcher.
Shows I've watched:
The Witcher
The punisher/daredevil et al
Doom patrol
Game of Thrones
The ozarks
The OA
Titans
The Flash
I usually binge watch over 2-3 days every two months. Whenever I'm out of town or I need a few days off from work.

You could give Altered Carbon a try. Adapted from the 2002 book. On Netflix.
Very gritty and ultra-violent cyberpunk. Also helps a great deal with visualising many of the strange and abstract sci-fi things in the book.

It can get a little tiresome when the 5ft 110 lb woman kills 8 armed men with her sword and throwing knives...but Im 6 seasons deep baby and gots to see it thru!

A grand day today, boys. Finished my PhD thesis at long last, after ten years at university. Spent the day chilling the F out at the beach (luckily enough, coincided with Australia Day, a very typical lazy, beachgoing day.)

I don’t usually comment on Covid related threads because Covid is just irritating over all but I’ve been taking ivermectin for various illnesses for 15+ years as do most of the other area ranchers as we have easy access to it. Ivermectin is absolutely tops and it knocks Covid out of a person in roughly a day, speaking from personal experience as well as seeing it first hand on others. And while we are on the subject banamine is an instant cure for hangovers, 2cc’s mixed with orange juice will have you right as rain in an hour.
