Depends on height, weight, bf% and activity level.

I'm a manlet with a slow metabolism so usually so usually cut on 2000-2100 calories on training days. and 1700-1800 on rest days. Enables me to lose 1.5 lbs a week on average.

Sedentary manlet checking in.
As of 3 days ago, I'm doing 1500 calories. Hunger is not an issue. Plenty of energy. I might have to use the scale to sure, but I've weighed enough food long enough to be pretty sure already.
Walking several times a day is also good for burning calories.

I eat fruit, veggies, corn, plant protein powder, nuts.

Carob powder is a tasty cheat. So is broccoli, green beans, radishes, etc.

I dunno, I eat huge salads with shrimp/chicken/steak and zero sugar dressing, celery/onions/mushrooms thrown in. Skinny Girl Poppyseed dressing is GOAT, Walmart carries it.
Kodiak pancakes, anabolic french toast, protein angel hair pasta, etc..

I do about 2100 calories at all times however, that is w/o any sort of lifting, just light cardio on days that I can squeeze it in.

I also do intermittent/alternate day fasting, so that's also helped me cut weight at a good pace.

I'd never cut on less than 2400 calories these days, if rather increase my activity level if it comes to it than have to live like that.

Same here was bulking on 4k atleast, wtf is going on! Trying to get down 215 from 238

I've heard about people plateuing half way and they drop their calories even lower, meaning I have to eat 1500 at some point along the way unless I do cardio which I will never do

Staying in the gym for an hour doing cardio everyday after your workout? No fking thanks

I rather starve to death than sweating on a treadmill everyday

It was easy, just eat a lot of veg.

You would never have to go that low for a grown male at your size. I'm an old female and those are my cutting numbers.

Most people don't track properly which is why they run into so many problems.
