‘Professionalism is racist’ event to be held in US university

In a virtual talk scheduled for February 1, students at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, will hear how “professionalism,” understood here as codes of dress, behavior and etiquette in the workplace, is actually racist.

The university’s website explains that “the term ‘professionalism’ has at times been used to silence and marginalize people of color, when attributes of appearance, language or interactions that have nothing to do with job knowledge or constructive collegial relationships are labeled as ‘unprofessional.’”

“In this context, so-called professionalism is coded language, a construct that upholds institutional racist policies and excluding practices.”

The talk at Washington University is being given by Cynthia Williams, the school’s ‘Assistant Dean of Community Partnerships’ and Jewel Stafford, director of its ‘Racial Equity Fellowship Program’. Despite her apparent disdain for the concept of professionalism, Williams’ biography describes her as “a skilled and highly motivated professional with 37 years of experience in academia.”

The event, which kicks off the university’s Black History Month program, will also “explore dismantling white supremacy and privilege in varied contexts.”

Conservative commenters ridiculed the university, which charges undergraduate students $76,766 per year to attend. One Twitter user accused it of dismantling “responsibility and merit” in favor of “victimhood,” while another argued that “this sort of thinking and teaching does nothing but set people up for failure, if they adhere to it.”



Basically, what I'm getting from this "event" is that people of color are coarse slobs and we need to respect that because that is their culture. Great job academia for further retarding POC from normal human beings to stereotyped entities.

Actually, its a good sigh for society when real systematic white on black racism can no longer be found outside some fringe outliers, so the marxists need to start inventing chit.

The only real negative is, instead of celebrating that fact, they've doubled down and won't allow a "post racial society." They'll go out of business once they do that.

Racism and division everywhere. Thank you, lefties. Imagine a credit card giving preferential treatment and beneficial funding based solely on skin color and gender. You get this:



You'd think Hispanics and Asians would cringe at the preferential treatment black people receive in all facets of this country...You literally have the president trying to give tax payer money to black people for Covid business relief. You have cities giving mononuclear antibody treatment to people of color and actually denying white people. Affirmative action. 'Diversity hiring'. Literal acting roles stating 'white people need not apply'. Then you have interracial crime where white people are murdered by black people at twice the rate as the inverse. Also statistically, black people commit 55% of all murder despite being 13% of the population and our government paints white supremacy as the biggest threat.


And then you have Hollywood that openly promotes violence against white men:



White dude is the victim as he almost gets run over, then the same chick runs into his car. He gets upset and a black man runs out and says 'I just found out I'm about to die and I may want to take a white guy with me!'.

Then when you offer solutions like promoting strong families, a decent moral compass, and try to dissuade people from consuming degenerate entertainment where violence and crime is glorified to try to alleviate crime issues, you're called a white supremacist or an Uncle Tom.

This division is all brought on by liberalism. Liberalism is truly the actual biggest threat to our country.

Minorities, other than Asians, hate being held to the standard of European civilisational norms because they inevitably can't stack up. This is the whole basis of the 'anti-racist' left all the way back to Marx and the shtetl Jews who couldn't fit in to society in the same way, back in the 19th century after their emancipation. The ethnic inferiority complex is behind the entirety of the modern left.

The only proper response is "Yes it's racist, our civilisation is racist and we don't care, now fuk off back to where you came from." The alternative is giving up your civilisation to appease these people because they might call you a mean name.
