Life under 5'10''

I heard a group of kids playing the " would you rather " game and one of the topics was, Would you rather be under 5'10" or dead. It was very eye opening for me and it got me to thinking.

Is there a point of life under 5 10?

Can you ever command any sort of respect as a man under that threshold. Hell would you even want to?

The kids (basketball players teenagers) legit were saying they'd rather be dead (ded fkn srs)

5'10 and not a virgin, multiple LTRs under my belt. I know a lot of folks who struggled with their height being like 5'4 or even shorter. Literally virgins until their mid-twenties. One guy I know was like 5'6 MAYBE 5'7 on a good day, and he has the hottest GF out of my previous small social circle. He has an average looking face, but definitely skinny and fit, great personality though tbh.

I know lots of guys who are 5'7 to 5'9 who get girls. Just be likeable, funny, charismatic, fun to be around, take care of yourself and don't be an insecure gymcel like half the people on this forum.

I've known lots of 5'5" - 5'8" guys that landed hot girlfriends and wives.

I'd say its only really a detriment with dating apps these days, especially when the apps let women filter out by height.

The reason that young boys are obsessed about looks now is because of social media and dating apps (which have become the norm for dating now).

Because of the apps....the top 5% of men (looks and height) get 95% of the women. The women on apps will continually chase the top 5% men of while those guys just continually cycle through endless options, pump and dumping everything, even far below their league. The women will continually complain about how they have "such bad luck" with men without realizing their mistake and artificially high standards until its too late.

So that's why kids now are so hyper-fixated on beauty standards.

Just another way society is going down the tubes.

I just miss the cutoff (5'9), and have never given a shyt. If some genie came and could magically make me any height, then yeah I'd choose to be taller I suppose, but my manletism isn't something that has ever bothered me.

my boomer work friend was bitching about his teenager taking 40 minute showers like what is he doing in there. i vividly remember my old man bitching the same. and yeah those days i was worrying about every little pimple and all that crap. as someone over 30 its been a long time since i cared about that and a long time since i had face acne. But yeah i forgot how much young people care or worry about their looks when in reality they are in peak glow. I cant imagine what goes through the heads of young guys these days, I havent even really thought about what kind of messages MSM and apps are sending them and a lot of the old advice about chasing girls these guys are now being told conflicting messages about dont be masculine, dont do this or that with women but then the girls are still going to be attracted to certain things no matter what society tells them. young men have to be a mess and nobody is really looking out for them.
