Lead by action. He talks about it to all his fans so they can see ok this dude had a tough time so rather than cleaning his room and being a man he got loaded on benzos lmao.

The difference is that young men that follow in his footsteps (he is an "influencer" and role model after all) won't have the money to 'fly to Russia for rehab'.

It's in the same vein as all those fraud "natty" bodybuilders on juice cocktails and vegans who very obviously eat animal products when the cameras off.

Listening to it now. I'm a massive JP fan but kind of letdown so far. Much more tangential than usual. Hopefully it gets better.

I thought he would be on fire after his recent video that he's quitting University of Toronto and is going on a mission to take down universities with woke agendas.
Lol what video is the one hes gonna fight the university wokeness cancer?

So the video is this one where he says he's quitting because of wokeness but doesn't outright say he's going to war with them

Then he tweets this when someone asks him what's he gonna do now

I watched the video re:quitting because of wokeness a few days back and I dug up the article that he read for anyone who prefers reading:

https://nationalpost.com/opinion/jor...ity-of-toronto

my cliffs:

Diversity Inclusion and Equity [DIE] [aka: preferential hiring/placement for BIPOC] creates a situation where:

- straight white males have a negligible chance of getting a position

- there are not enough qualified candidates to fill the BIPOC designated positions

- academics have to craft a DIE statement as part of their grant proposals

- some colleagues are submitting to anti-bias training

- accrediting boards for graduate clinical psychology training programs in Canada are now planning to refuse to accredit university clinical programs unless they have a “social justice” orientation

- Canadian legislation to ban "conversion therapy" makes it risky for clinicians to disagree with their clients [e.g. suggest against gender reassignment surgery]

- Hollywood hiring decisions now hinge on DIE policies/hiring BIPOC to appease rewards committees

"And this is everywhere — and if you don’t see it, your head is either in the sand or shoved somewhere far more unmentionable. CBS, for example, has literally mandated that every writers’ room be at least 40 per cent BIPOC in 2021 [50 per cent in 2022].

We are now at the point where race, ethnicity, “gender,” or sexual preference is first, accepted as the fundamental characteristic defining each person ([ust as the radical leftists were hoping] and second, is now treated as the most important qualification for study, research and employment."

- ESG scores [Environmental, Social and Governance] are being used to influence corporate policies and behavior much like the social credit system is being used on citizens in China

Putin's commentary on American wokeism might be my favorite bit:
The advocates of so-called ‘social progress’ believe they are introducing humanity to some kind of a new and better consciousness. Godspeed, hoist the flags, as we say, go right ahead. It may come as a surprise to some people, but Russia has been there already.

After the 1917 revolution, the Bolsheviks also said that they would change existing ways and customs, and not just political and economic ones, but the very notion of human morality and the foundations of a healthy society.

The destruction of age-old values, religion, and relations between people, up to and including the total rejection of family, encouragement to inform on loved ones — all this was proclaimed progress and was widely supported around the world and was quite fashionable, same as today. The Bolsheviks were absolutely intolerant of opinions other than theirs.

You can have full empathy for a guy going through the challenges he's had but also decide that you won't take advice on how to live your life from someone whose life is more messed up than your own. It's like getting diet advice from a fat person or lifting advice from a twink or financial advice from someone who is regularly broke.

about half way through, not all that great

first 2 years or so of JP were his prime

he's gone massively downhill after his benzo rehab disappearance unfortunately

most the episode is just blabbering stream of consciousness, but it's not all tied together as well or eloquently as he was once able to do
Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

i think when we first heard him it all seemed so streamlined because these were thoughts, ideas etc that he had for a while. its like an artists first album. its like his first book that took him i think over a decade to write.

he's experienced so much recently that he hasnt had the time to have everything coalesce into sharp points. i got that from the short bible clips. its unfortunate.

will watch in the morning.

This. I love JP and his first few years on the spotlight were amazing and eye opening. But his benzo binge seems to have hit him hard AF. Couldn't follow half what he was saying, it was just strings of ideas cobbled together with no coherent point. Even Rogan seemed pretty unimpressed by him.

I know this from my own experience of never having depression until I took antibiotics for a cold and developing chronic diarrhea since. That antibiotic, Keflex is now the #1 drug implicated in causing the bacteria to overgrow and become pathogenic. I also know this from also doing FMT pills and the depression completely disappearing instantly as my gut problems disappeared as well.

So basically she had an infection and because of her dad being a psychologist went through years of being treated as someone with mental problems when there was a very well known and studied toxin producing bacteria causing all her symptoms all along.

I knew a guy who was 34, an Ironman athlete who had a baby daughter. He started having blood in his stool regularly and saw a doctor who said it's just stress and prescribed antidepressants. As his symptoms got worse and worse months later he got a colonoscopy and had colon cancer that has spread throughout his entire body and became terminal. He died the same year.

If the first doctor had taken it serious and actually investigated why he was bleeding out of his colon he likely would have survived.

And this is why I despise psychology, antidepressants and anyone promoting them.
Please post proof of peterson preventing his daughter from going to a doctor for probable gi issues and attributed it to mental health solely, for years.

Peterson should be thrown in jail for that, presumably she was a minor at this time?

Either you are blatantly slating JP and lying, or JP should go to jail.

You yourself fall into a hedonistic and narcissistic personality solely from the posts ITT, especially the comment about comparing cDif to cancer lmao who compares that? Brb i had both, but this one is worse. Brb one is treatable, the other is sometimes not. Again why compare? This says it all about you brah. Relax a bit.

Man, it's crazy to see the difference in JP pre and post his benzo addiction.

You can tell his mind is not as sharp as it used to be.

Absolute insanity what drugs given out on a whim by doctors will do to you.

Agreed. Especially with his fondness of spirituality - combine the two and sometimes a man can start sounding quite kookoo

This.

Jordan Peterson is a stupid person's idea of an intellectual. I don't think he does it intentionally, but he is borderline controlled opposition for hardcore leftism with his pseudo anti-clownworld rants. I've heard of literally one person ever mention him outside of the misc IRL. It was a self-proclaimed religious guy (carries saint cards and chit everywhere) I work with who brought JP up talking about how moral he thinks JP is. Coincidentally, he votes Democrat and despite seeming like a hardcore conservative otherwise, "because Donald Trump is a mean person".

I've watched about half of it, it's not nearly as entertaining as his first few times on Rogan were. JP was at his prime when he was actually lecturing. His Personality, Maps of Meaning, and Biblical lectures are his best workby far, followed by the lectures he did as a part of his first book tour. I'm a big JP fan but his own podcast is unwatchable, however I still really enjoy when he is interviewed by others.

The talk he did at Cambridge last month, I think it was titled Imitation of the Divine, is a lot closer to the old JP. I expect more of the same as he starts his new book tour.

Also just lol at the delusional people ITT calling him a con artist.

I got suckered into his ideologies back when he was in his prime. Even bought and read his 12 rules for life book (which btw all the useful advice can be summed up in less than 300 words srs).
IIRC he never admitted to his hair transplant either. Which shows he isn't being true to himself and is just another shill

Turned off after an hour or so. Watching it it felt a bit like meeting up with an old friend who you’d since gone on to be way more successful than and they’ve kinda stood still or gone back and you’re not longer on the same wavelength as them. Felt a bit sad like Joe was just doing him a favour having him in tbh.

I said OTHER people said that you fukin retard. I haven't had cancer so how can I compare it?! I was merely highlighting that it is a fuked up disease yet every doctor you go to tells you nah dawg you're chitting water out your ass 20x a day because of stress and anxiety, take some antidepressants. And the reason they do that is because 'psychology' has convinced people that all illnesses are mental. That's why in my other post I gave an example of someone I knew who died of colon cancer for the same reason. What is narcissistic about pointing out that this could happen to you too and trying to warn you not to trust people like Jordan Peterson?

I'm irate when I see this snake oil salesman preach about 'being a man', 'cleaning your room', taking responsibility, how men today are depressed and soy blah blah blah, then when his life gets tough he jumps on so many benzos he has to go to a rehab clinic while his wife is dying lmao. What a fukin role model.

If you want I can find the proof because Jordan AND Mikayla both talk about her going to several doctors getting antidepressants because they thought it was all in her head. The fukin girl was eating 1 kind of meat for a year because she thought she had food intolerance lmao. Do you really believe him being a 'clinical psychologist' had no influence on this?

Hedonistic, do you even know what that word means? What fuking pleasure do I find from having C diff you stupid kunt lmao. What pleasure do I get from being pissed that these charlatans are the role models men look up to while using hard drugs whenever they have a stressful situation? Why do you think so many young people are on antidepressants and committing suicide? Because they seek help from these ****g0ts who put them on drugs that fuk their brains up.

This was the worst Peterson I’ve seen.

- He went off on so many tangents.
- He could explain things much simpler but over complicated them, example, the reliability of predictive modelling over time.
- even Joe was like “what are you saying???” When he was just responding with no, no, no. Instead of trying to be emphatic, pause and just explain more clearly your perspective.
- Maybe he’s excited but he seemed more performative rather than just engaging in conversation than usual. The over facetiousness which Joe called him out on, the over-expressions, over-emphasis on everything like it’s final.
- case in point on performative about the climate change. He could explain his viewpoint on why it’s hard to tackle climate change because there are so many variables and you got to decide which variable to eliminate and at what cost, who is gonna pay (the poor) and is the reward for that specific variable being tackled worth it overall. His point about making the poor richer is good. He could clearly explain and cite examples of proposed solutions and why he thinks they could be counterproductive or hurt the poor as a consequence of tackling that.

Instead he was like “haha and the left knows this”, “hahaha the left wants to kill the poor”. A lot of hyperbolic.

Disappointed he didn’t touch on the topic of lockdowns and censorship and giving governments too much power, the divide etc. Basically what he’s earned is about for years, that’s more his domain. Mass psychosis theory you would think would be his absolute expertise given his background as a psychologist and his in-depth studies on totalitarian states.

There’s definitely mental decline and he himself has acknowledged it in one of his podcasts when he said he has trouble recollecting stuff these days. But it’s good to see that he’s getting better, and may be back to form in another year or so.

Already way more awake compared to when he did his podcast with Matthew mconahey.

Still haven't watched the podcast, but agree with this. I'm not some huge JP fan and haven't watched or read all of his material...bits and pieces of his early work that you mentioned.

I think you are referring to this:

Is his advice that new and profound? Mostly not.

I think there was just a real hunger for it, maybe related to the lack of parenting [single mom] and lack of moral teaching [less religious participation] a lot of young men have experienced.

He is just a man with feet of clay; imperfect and buffeted by age and grief. That doesn't mean he knows nothing worth learning. Experience is a harsh teacher.

How many people will say no to a benzo script after witnessing his experience? Or will question psychological diagnoses given for physical symptoms?
