You had a nice window with zimmer. Just goes to show how many stars need to align to go deep into the playoffs. I’ve always kinda liked the vikes. The bears on the other hand…

Aaron is a hell of a player and while we disagree on many things he explained himself really well in this clip.

I thought I’d seen it all but this takes the cake. Then the one time he takes a shot to his 1 good receiver on a third and long, he is criticized for it.
Because that’s what I said you halfwit

Erin will throw 3 balls out of bounds before making a risky play. Incompletions don’t hurt his stats nearly as much as an interception. And all he has is that TD:int record.

If you look at the tweet with graphs I posted earlier, Rodgers average playoff performance far surpasses Brady’s. The entire lowest 25% of performances were all Brady’s. How is that possible with him being such a great postseason QB? The stats just don’t support it unless you include team victories.
Comparing playoff stats when schemes, teams, locations and opponents are different doesn’t tell anywhere near the story you think it does.

You have to look at each guy on his own.

Brady’s resume speaks for itself. Nobody comes close.

Rodgers is an elite QB, top tier talent and arm but his failures in the playoffs regardless of stats are too numerous to ignore. Same goes for Peyton Manning.

You say you want the better team. Packers won 13 games each of the last 3 seasons. They didn’t make the SB and just went one and done after scoring 10 points at home.

The defense excuse certainly doesn’t work in this one. 49ers had like negative yards most of the first half.

You ignored my question earlier.

Do you think scoring 10 points as the home team and #1 seed playing the 6th seed playing on a short week is getting it done by the guy who has a legit shot of being back to back league MVP?

He literally took the awful sack that led to a blocked punt for a TD on the next play. Then missed a wide open Lazard on his final pass attempt of the year.

Every victory is a team victory and stats do not tell the entire story. Look at the 2007 Patriots. Statistically, one of the best seasons a team/QB has ever had. But they lost to a huge underdog when it really matter. Brady had amazing stats, but it doesn't matter because they lost when it counts. All the stats mean nothing after the loss.

And that is what it boils down to with Rodgers. You can talk QBR, completion % and any other stat you want, at the end of the day it does not overshadow his playoff woes.

And we squandered a ton of young talent on rookie deals thanks to horrible QB acquisitions like Bradford and Kirk. Effectively killing our window.

At one point we had Hunter, Barr, Kendricks, Diggs, Thielen, Cook, all on rookie deals.

Look at Matt Ryan’s stats in super bowl 51

Stats are for losers and box score watchers. And apparently fans of one of the greatest chokers of all time

You are talking about one game, I’m talking about an entire career of playoff stats.

People like you claim Rodgers chokes in the playoffs, though his level of play isn’t far off from his regular season level of play. Other QBs play far worse on average, but because the team wins, they aren’t chokers?

That’s flawed logic.

Everything went stale once Teddy snapped his leg, Zimmer never welcomed any QB even after the 2017 season he hated Keenum and that continued with Kirk. Never knew a HC could be so disconnected from the QB and the GM as he was

In what world? Lazard is running his route passed their 45 yard line with the other two DB’s backs to him chasing after Adams. He’s running towards the right sideline and getting at least another 20 yards. He’s in field goal range after that play. Not to mention St. Brown is open for a likely TD on the left side.

But Erin had a very good completion percentage. He did everything you’d expect of an MVP QB

"choke" but ryan made the most clutch throw in that game. Dont discredit ryan for that performance. A lot of things went bradys way such as dropped INTs, an incredibly lucky once in a lifetime catch, a crucial penalty taking the falcons out of FG range, and a missed blitz pickup block

The falcons have not needed anything be defensive stop, or even just to force king drives and NE wouldn’t have had time to mount a comeback. The defense completely imploded.

Meanwhile, the NE defense magically created 3 and outs, turnovers, etc. a lot needs to go right on both sides of the ball when you are down 4 possessions…

All of Brady’s comeback would have been useless garbage time stats if any of 1000 things happened in any phase of the game.

All part of being the goat. No such thing as garbage time when you’re capable of coming back from almost any deficit

When 50% of any comeback depends on your defense getting quick stops, that means half of any comeback is entirely out of your control. Then factor in special teams…

I think there are 5 QB's in the superbowl era with 3 or more rings. I think we estimate how hard it is, especially when you consider he played his entire career with Brady.

Stafford must've got really good in the off season since it's the QB position that wins ball games.

Probably the worst part about these threads is when the resident braindead Wisconsin homer finds new ways to cope about his teams' shortcomings.
All it takes is Mookie Betts, Steph Curry, and Joe Burrow all sitting in the same car in order for one drunk driver to make the world a significantly better place.
