How will it be buried? Because elden ring will likely be good, this won’t be good? Or because they come out in the same month and people will only play one game per month? And botw 2 is at least probably 8 months away, and may not even hit this year.

Define what you mean, because I don’t think it makes sense. It sounds like you are saying either/and: game won’t review well, or won’t sell well.

Funny enough though, "every Sony game is just stealth, walk behind someone and press one button" is why I got a PS4 over "every Xbox game is a MP cluster**** with 12 year olds screaming racial epitaphs" an Xbox to begin with.

I'll get this, just not at launch. I really did like the first one.

WOW so i am going through the DLC of the first game and i can already see huge improvement for the sidequests and story telling in DLC compared to the base game. It made me even more hyped for the one that is about to come out because of what that video was saying because i did feel that most of the sidequests in the base game were kind of boring.

The side quest characters in the DLC are much more interesting.

DLC was a major improvement on the base game IMO, which makes me even more excited for this.

Looking at the video posted in the OP, seems like they've learned from their shortcomings in the first game and are really refining and upgrading everything that was lacking in the previous game. I reckon a lot of retards in here calling this game "dlc" will cope even harder when this game releases to a ton of sales and great reviews.

Absolutely rekt. Solid post. BOTW didn't overshadow Horizon at all. Both sold great. I'd even say Horizon accomplished more because it was the first title in a new IP and therefore had to make a serious statement to be put on the map. Especially launching the same time as the massively anticipated Zelda game where any mediocre product would get buried.

As of Feb 2019, two years after release Breath of the Wild sold approx. 13 million copies.

As of the same period after launch, Horizon as a brand new IP sold around 10 million copies.

Not a blow away by any stretch considering how established of a franchise Zelda is.
